No. They're separate balances. Dashboard credits are used when you generate from the web app. API credits are used for programmatic calls via /api/v1/*. This keeps billing independent.

Can I upgrade my plan?

What happens if generation fails?
Credits are refunded automatically if a video generation fails. You only pay for successful completions.
